WM Police collaboration results in Improved Outcomes and Reduced Demands

Read about the work being done within the Neighbourhood Policing Team run by Sergeant, Hanif Ullah, and Intervention and Prevention Officer, Caroline Stapleton, at the heart of a new approach designed to reduce the demands on police time. In partnership with Bev Hardman, the Project Support Assistant at Birmingham Changing Futures and has lived experience, Caroline identifies the vulnerable people calling the police and proactively offers support to help them address their issues. The result is a reduction in the demands on police time and improved outcomes for the individuals involved.
